Newfoundland &
Labrador I love this beautiful province and spectacular scenery. My passion for painting and
the many opportunities this province provides, makes sharing my memories with you a joy.
I began painting in 1995, and soon realized I had found what I had been looking for my whole
life. The contentment I feel when I paint and the encouragement from family, friends and
strangers draws me back to my canvas.
A mother of two and a sibling of seven, creativity is very strong throughout my family.
I was raised to think for myself and to open my eyes to what's around me.
For the past 5 years I have been a member of VANL {Visual Arts .of Newfoundland and Labrador}.
As a member of VANL I continuously learn from very talented people. Being around them gives
me the energy and creativity I desire from people I admire.
I love to paint on any surface. Canvass and rocks are two of the most frequent I use.
Canvass provides beautiful paintings to hang anywhere. I sometimes find rocks that have
interesting images (Landscapes, Icebergs, Fish, or a Piece of pie, etc.) that I paint
which provides a decorative touch, conversation piece and brings a smile to anybodies face.
